33 splitter strain review.

Up for discussion today is 33 splitter a relatively new strain from @uprisingseedco which combines the likes of gelato 33 with atom splitter to create a complex unique smoke which for me ticks all the boxes.

With nothing really know about the lineage or history of atom splitter this is abit of a mystery strain which for me makes it even more appealing.

If I were to describe the smell it is very much gelato (33?) dominant with that enticing sweet smell being the first thing you smell followed by a gas which I imagine comes from the 33 splitter. It results in an incredible smell and unlike a lot of strains which have a sweet smell but subtle taste I find that 33 splitter tastes as good as it smells (which is like gods vagina.)

Upon smoking the gas terps come through far more strongly than upon smelling alone and it makes for a really complex taste which I find oddly very moreish. The perfect balance between the sweet almost candy taste from the gelato mixed with a gassy funk from the splitter means that this strain will not disappoint. It’s very similar to the larrybirdwood due to the gelato parent however the LBW was far more piney rather than gas. (I actually prefer the LBW but this is a close second and both strains are easily on my top 5 of 2018 which shows @uprisingseedco must be doing something right.)

To smoke it proved to be very clean and smooth from start to finish, the flavour could have been more pungent towards the end of the joint but id say it’s more the batch rather than the strain which caused this and that’s just me being super picky it was still grown exceedingly well. Nice indica dominant strain, personally I could get away with smoking this in the day but for most I’d probably advise evening and night time use.

If you get the chance to grow or try any of @uprisingseedco I really would give it a chance, having had 2 of their strains now and both being superb I really think they’re a company to watch out for.
