Cannabis Toffee Caramels
Since everyone seemed to enjoy our cannabis caramels recipe, sharing another cannabis and caramel concoction seemed like a good idea. Here’s our recipe for Cannabis Toffee Caramels. Enjoy!
- 3 ounces butter (85 grams)
- ¼ can of condensed milk (4 tablespoons)
- 8 ounces sugar (225 grams)
- 8 tablespoons golden syrup
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- 4 ounces broken-up plain chocolate (100 grams)
- 3-4 grams finely crumbled hash
Combine everything but the chocolate and hash into a heavy-duty saucepan (the contents will become extremely hot). Stir the mixture over low heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Now add the broken chocolate chunks and warm steadily to 250°F (120°C). If you don’t have a thermometer on hand, you can try placing a drop of cold water into a saucer and then adding a bit of your toffee to it. As it cools, it will show the setting stage it has reached. For a soft caramel, roll it into a soft ball. The hotter it becomes the more toffee-like it will be.
Remove the pan from the heat and place it on a cold surface. When it has settled and reached 140°F (60°C), the hash can be gently and safely stirred into the mixture.
Once it has cooled down enough to handle, pour it into a buttered 8-inch tin. You can choose to either cut them into squares (you should end up with about 30 or so) or roll them into éclairs. Dipping them in melted chocolate is highly advised.

Buttery toffee adds an extra dimension to an already great chocolate chip cookie recipe.
Use Marijuana Butter to medicate this recipe. My making Marijuana Butter tutorial can help you make it.
Freezer Friendly Marijuana Cookies
For hot medicated cookies anytime, freeze individual unbaked cookies on a waxed paper lined baking sheet. Once frozen, transfer to a plastic freezer container or bag. Whenever you want a medicate treat, remove however many cookies you want at a time and bake according to recipe instructions, adding a minute or two to the baking time.
A note about the Dosing on this recipe!
This recipe will have about 10 mg THC per cookie IF you made your marijuana butter from average cannabis (10% THC) and used 1/2 ounce of marijuana to make 1 cup butter. To adjust the dosage up or down for your personal needs and to reflect the strength of the marijuana you are cooking with and the amounts you used to make your butter, be sure to take my FREE 10 minute online Dosing Class that will teach you how to do it, or use my handy dosage calculator tools that do all the math for you (see below).
